Bay Leaves and Cinnamon. This blend is not only aromatic and flavorful, but it also has digestive, anti-inflammatory, and relaxing properties.

Hibiscus Flower Infusion with Bay Leaves and Cinnamon
Ingredients:

1 cup dried hibiscus flowers (approx. 20-30 g)

2-3 dried bay leaves

1-2 cinnamon sticks

1.5 liters of water

(Optional) Honey, piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), or sugar to taste

(Optional) Lemon juice

Boil the water:

In a large pot, bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil.

Add the ingredients:

Once the water boils, add the hibiscus flowers, bay leaves, and cinnamon.

Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Steep:

Turn off the heat and let the mixture steep for another 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Strain:

Strain the infusion to remove the flowers, leaves, and cinnamon.
