Hibiscus Flower Mixture with Bay Leaves and Cinnamon

Sweeten (optional):

You can add honey, piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), or sugar to taste while the infusion is still hot. You can also add a squeeze of lemon if you like a citrusy touch.

Serve:

You can enjoy it hot or cold (it’s delicious and refreshing over ice).

Tip:

This infusion is ideal after a meal, as it aids digestion and reduces bloating. Hibiscus is also a diuretic, and bay leaf and cinnamon have anti-inflammatory and calming properties.

Would you like us to turn it into a fermented beverage or kombucha? Or would you prefer to use it as a base for a cocktail or mocktail?
